Agatha Crusty

It is with much disappointment that we have had to cancel our production of Agatha Crusty and the Village Hall Murders following a COVID-19 case within our cast.

We cannot arrange replacement dates in the foreseeable future. If you have already bought tickets, you will get a full refund including the booking fee where one was applied. If you paid by card, you will get the refund from our ticket agent, Ticketsource. If you have paid cash, we will contact you and arrange to return your money to you. We will also attempt to contact anyone with a “pay on the door” reservation. If you have any questions, please contact us at

When Agatha Crusty goes to stay with her sister-in-law Alice in Chortleby, she’s expecting to enjoy a restful holiday. But life’s never like that when you’re a famous detective novelist … members of the Village Hall Committee are dropping like flies and obviously something’s afoot! Never fear – DI Twigg (Special Branch?) is on the case. But who will unmask the killer first? Is your money on Twigg or Agatha?

RADSOC presents this comedy murder mystery at Bar Hill Church on the Thursday 15th July at 7.30pm and on Saturday 17th July at 2.30pm and 7.30pm. Tickets are now on sale by clicking “Buy Tickets Online” at the top right of this page or by phoning the box office on 07563 334555.

The extension  of COVID-19 restrictions by the government has made our original performance dates impossible.  We are pleased to announce that we have been able to reschedule two performances to the Tuesday and Wednesday of the following week (20th and 21st July).

COVID-19: We shall comply with any capacity or spacing restrictions that may still be in place. We have assumed that social-distancing will be required between households and have limited the number of tickets on sale initially. We will release more tickets when we become confident that restrictions will be lifted. On the other hand, we will fully refund all tickets if it becomes necessary to cancel the performance and will refund individual tickets if you tell us that you are required to isolate.
